Lynks Mobile Golf LLC ("Lynks," "we," "us," or "our") is a mobile golf simulator rental company based in Utah. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit lynksmobilegolf.com, request a quote, book an event, chat with us, sign up for our messages, or play at one of our events, and how we use and share it. Our Terms of Service cover the rules for using our site and our text message program.
Text messaging data. We do not share customer text message opt-in information, including phone numbers collected through SMS opt-in and consent records, with any affiliates or third parties for marketing, promotional, or any other purposes unrelated to providing our services. All text messaging originator opt-in data is kept confidential. Details are in the Text messages section below.
Information you give us. When you request a quote, contact us, chat with us on our website, book an event, subscribe to our emails or texts, or sign a waiver, we collect details such as:
Payment information. Payments are processed by our booking and payment providers, Zenbooker and Stripe. Your full card number goes directly to them. We don't store it.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our site, we and our analytics and advertising partners use cookies, pixels, and similar tools to collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, actions you take (like requesting a quote), and your general location.
Photos and video at events. We may photograph or film our simulator in use at events for our website, social media, and ads. The client who books the event agrees to this in our Rental Agreement and is asked to let guests know. If you'd rather not appear in our content, tell your caddie on the day or email us afterward and we'll remove it.
We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only as described here:
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.
We advertise on Google, Facebook, and Instagram. To do that, we use tools such as the Google tag and the Meta Pixel on our website. These tools let Google and Meta see how you interact with our site, so they can show our ads to people likely to be interested, avoid showing ads to people who have already booked, and tell us which ads lead to inquiries.
We may also upload customer contact information, such as email addresses and phone numbers from quote requests and bookings, to Google and Meta so they can match it to their users for ad targeting and measurement. This information is hashed (converted into an unreadable code) before it's uploaded. Phone numbers and consent records collected through text message opt-in are never included in these uploads.
You can limit this advertising in several ways:
Opt-in and consent. You'll only receive texts from us if you've explicitly opted in, using the text message consent checkboxes on our booking and quote request forms or in our website chat widget. There are two separate choices:
Opting in to either is never a condition of booking. We keep timestamped records of every opt-in and opt-out, and we comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CTIA guidelines.

SMS data protection. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We protect your text message opt-in information and consent records with the safeguards described below.
If you subscribe to our emails, including to receive a discount code, or give us your email at an event, we'll send occasional updates and offers. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be removed. Unsubscribing from marketing won't stop messages about an event you've booked.
We use cookies and similar technologies to analyze site traffic, remember preferences, improve the site, and measure our advertising. This includes analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and advertising cookies and pixels (Google and Meta). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Our site works normally without them.
We keep booking and payment records for as long as we need them for taxes, accounting, and insurance, which is generally several years. We keep inquiry, email, and text message list information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until it's no longer useful to us. We keep records of your consent and opt-outs as long as needed to honor them and show we did.
We use reputable providers that encrypt data in transit and maintain their own security safeguards. We protect our accounts with strong passwords and two-factor authentication where available, and we limit access to your information to the people who need it to serve you. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we'll notify you as required by law. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
You can ask us to show you the personal information we have about you, explain how we use it, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for advertising. You can withdraw consent to future emails or texts at any time. Email riley@lynksmobilegolf.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some records, such as payment history and consent records, where the law requires it.
Kids are welcome at our events, but our website isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them online. If you believe a child has sent us their information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Our site links to other websites, such as our social media pages and our booking provider. We aren't responsible for their privacy practices, so review their policies when you visit them. This policy applies only to information collected by Lynks Mobile Golf.
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top. For significant changes, we'll also post a notice on our website or email you.
